We had the most amazing couple of days here. It’s set in a beautiful location and is so peaceful. We were greeted by a very friendly Pete, who gave us info on the local area and kept us stocked up with wood for the hot tub. He also gave us food for the sheep and we had great fun feeding them. On arrival, as requested, Georgie had the hot tub up & running for us and it was just perfect. Georgie had also prepared the hut for us and it was scrupulously clean and welcoming and she had left us some personal touches including a cold bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. The hut has everything you need including towels and robes. When the sun is out it gets very hot so make sure you take plenty of sun lotion.
There is a local pub called the Green Dragon which is about a 5 minute walk away and they have a very nice garden and serve lovely food.
The main stores are about a 10 minute drive away.
My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer.
